The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda Shofner and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, May 13th and runs through Sunday, May 19th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional.

Of course, while I had fully intended to finish reading another book on Saturday, that didn't quite happen. With a whole day off of work, I'd planned on kicking back, eating some snacks, and reading, reading, reading.
Instead, I spent most of my time going through books to compile some possible reads for BookLikes-opoly when the game starts. I like making lists, it's all the rage.
Nonetheless, I'm still making progress on Mortal Arts, and I'm very much hoping that I'll have it finished before the weekend is over. I'm also going to find a chance to finish listening to the rest of The Sittaford Mystery. Then I'll be down to only one ongoing book, which I plan on taking slowly anyway. It'll be something that maybe I can read if I'm ever between books during BL-opoly.
