The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda Shofner and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, January 7th and runs through Sunday, January 13th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional.

Why yes, I DID start reading four different books at the beginning of this month! And apparently I hadn't gotten far pre-readathon. But that's alright! I think I made up for the lack of reading last week with the past couple days' progresses... sort of. I managed to finish reading The Anatomist's Wife in the wee hours of early Tuesday morning, then turned to With This Ring... but have been sadly distracted by other things.
The pages read for With This Ring may change in my next update... assuming I make another update before the end of the readathon. I plan on trying to make more progress with the book.
